that is a small nice city of 11.000
inhabitants in the center of the northern part from "BlackForest". It is located
in a long valley of a nice small river "Enz".
Bad-Wildbad is well known as a thermalic water bath and helthresort for spa.
The people are very famous for their working method.
It is a place to relax and to spend vacation in a nice landscape and fresh air to get your
mind clear and cure your body. There are several sanatories for different kinds of disease
available and a lot of Hotels,
Gasthouses, coffeehouses and confectioneries. In Bad-Wildbad you can swim in mineralic
thermalwater, you can have fun in the old "Graf Eberhardsbad", "Palais Thermal"now
called.
Hike in the nearly endless woods of BlackForest mountains like the "Sommerberg"
or simply, drink a coffee in one of the pretty coffee houses. But Bad-Wildbad is also a
nice place in winter if you like ski.
In Bad-Wildbad on the Sommerberg now you can visit the Bikepark
Bad-Wildbad with several downhill routes and exercice-park. (only in summertime). From
Bad-Wildbad you can visite other nice places in this area like Pforzheim,
Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Calw or Freudenstadt. Even Stuttgart or Heidelberg are
not so far. Because BadWildbad is a little bit separated from the main traffic routes, it
is recommended to come by car. Since december 2002 you can use also the new metropolitan
railwaytrain, directly from Karlsruhe and Pforzheim.
